ITS World Congresses
The 16th ITS World Congress took place from 21 to 25 September 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden and gathered in one week more than 8000 delegates from across the world. For the first time in its history, all modes of transport were represented and visitors could experience and understand the benefits of ‘ITS in daily life’. The event was open for the public the last day, Friday 25th September. A Demo Theatre was also open to the public and showed meaningful examples from daily life about how ITS can make life everyday life better, using an attractive and easy to understand approach for anyone. The Demo Theatre sessions were highly popular and represented one sparkling awareness action targeting the end-user/general public. Latest Stockholm calling issue here!
